Santa María Nature Reserve (Reserva natural Santa Maria)
This reserve is located 12 km from Ituzaingó and is a great place to enjoy with the family.
It’s a large natural area with open grasslands, native trees, and bushes. Many types of plants and animals live here.
Visitors can walk 200 meters on the “Tachurí Coludo” trail to the “Ernesto Krauczuk” lookout. From there, they can see animals and plants in the area. The walk continues along the Yacyretá dam, where you may see rare animals like the marsh deer, river otter, and maned wolf — all protected by the province of Corrientes.
